What can I use instead of MoneyBrilliant?
Updated 2026-10-15 · Australia
Westpac shut MoneyBrilliant down in late 2022 — account syncing stopped on 16 November and access ended on 16 December 2022. Former users can use spending insights in their bank's app, another budgeting app such as Frollo or WeMoney, or a spreadsheet that categorises downloaded bank statements across several banks without sharing a login.
What MoneyBrilliant users usually want
- All accounts in one view
- Automatic categories
- A budget that matches their pay cycle
Sorted Budget covers all three with up to 4 accounts plus cash, 550+ Australian merchants and weekly, fortnightly or monthly pay.
Moving your history across
If you exported your data before the shutdown, import the CSV into a Bank tab. Otherwise download up to 2 years of transactions from each bank — see our bank guides.
